Introduction to Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts

西安美术学院建校于1949年，自建校以来，广纳贤才、汇聚名师，恪守“弘美厚德，借古开今”的校训，长期坚持“传统为基、当代为用、强化内涵、特色发展”的办学理念，逐渐形成了基础雄厚、结构合理、特色鲜明的美术教育体系。为国家的建设发展培养了大批优秀艺术人才，创作了许多在中国当代美术史上具有深远影响的作品，为繁荣社会主义艺术事业做出了重要贡献，产生了良好的社会声誉和影响。

Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts was founded in 1949. Since its foundation, Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts has recruited many capable personnel and prominent teachers, abide by the motto of “carrying forward beauty and virtue and creating the now by virtue of the ancient ”. For a long time, based on the schooling philosophy of “tradition-based, for contemporary use, strengthened connotation and characteristic development”, the Academy has been gradually forming a fine art education system of strong foundation, reasonable structure and distinctive characteristics, cultivated a large number of outstanding artistic personnel, created many works that have far-reaching influence in the history of contemporary Chinese art and made important contributions to the cause of socialist art, and won a good social reputation and influence.

学院现拥有艺术学理论、美术学和设计学三个一级学科博士、硕士学位授予权，是国务院学位委员会批准的首批硕士授权单位（1981年）和第九批博士授权单位（2003年）。2014年，学院获得美术学博士后科研流动站。2007年学院在国家教育部本科教学工作水平评估中获得“优秀”。2011年学院被列入陕西省重点建设的十一所高水平、有特色大学行列。

The Academy is entitled to award doctoral and master’s degree of three first-level discipline which are artistic theory, fine arts and design science, it is among the first batch of units authorized to grant master degree (1981) and the ninth batch of units authorized to grant doctoral degree (2003) approved by the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council. In 2014, the Academy was approved to set up a center for art post-doctoral studies. In 2007, the Academy achieved “excellent” in the undergraduate teaching evaluation organized by the Ministry of Education. In 2011 the Academy was listed as one of 11 high-level and distinctive key construction universities of Shaanxi Province.

Job Requirement

具有海外学习或工作经历，硕士及以上学位，以艺术为志业，有艺术实践经验，熟悉现当代艺术及其理论，在所从事领域有突出的学术业绩，具有广阔的学术视野和创新思维，具备成为所从事领域领军人才的潜质。

One has overseas learning or working experience, master’s degree or above, be willing to work in art, has practical experience in art, be familiar with modern art and theory, has outstanding academic achievements in the field he/she is occupied in, has wide academic vision and innovative thinking and possess the potential to become the leader in the field he/she is occupied in.

Salary and Benefits

学院将根据《西安美术学院高层次人才引进暂行办法》相关规定，予以引进人才相应的科研启动经费及其他福利待遇。
